1. Personal information you may provide to us through the hospital, on our telephones or email, or otherwise includes:
● Contact data, such as your first and last name, email address, billing and mailing address, and phone number.
● Demographic data, such as your date of birth.
● Pet data, such as name, species, age, gender, health history, and insurance information.
● Communications that we exchange with you, including when you contact us with questions or feedback, social media, or otherwise.
● Payment and transactional data, such as information relating to or needed to complete your orders and/or payments on the day of, or as a deposit beforehand (including payment card information and billing information), and your purchase history. We will NEVER store your credit card information on-file for future payments. We cannot take payments over the phone.
● Marketing data, such as your preferences for receiving our follow-up or marketing communications and details about your engagement with us
● Government-issued identification, such as driver’s license or state ID number.
● Event data, such as information you share with us in the course of participating in our live events.
● Other data not specifically listed here, which we will use as described in this Privacy Policy or as otherwise disclosed at the time of collection.
2. - HOW WE USE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION
We may use your personal information for the following purposes or as otherwise described at the time off collection:

As part of these activities, we may create aggregated, de-identified, and/or anonymized data from the personal information we collect. We make personal information into de-identified or anonymized data by removing information that makes the data personally identifiable to you
●Only with your consent, we may use your information to share your information and patient history with rescues or organizations seeking information for future adoptions. You as the owner must give permission to release records for this to occur..
●We may send you direct marketing communications. You may opt out of our marketing communications as described in the Opt-out of Marketing section below. No mobile opt-in data or numbers will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties. Specific guidelines to SMS texting are listed below:
Hershire Animal Hospital SMS Terms of Use:
●You will receive messages with confirmations, forms, or information for upcoming appointments, scheduled services, and general customer care.
●You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Just text "STOP" to the message. After you send the SMS message "STOP" to us, we will send you an SMS message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed. After this, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us. To resubscribe and opt back in to receive texts from this number, text “START”.
●If you are experiencing issues with the messaging program, you can reply with the keyword HELP for more assistance or how to unsubscribe.
● Carriers are not liable for any delayed or undelivered messages.
●As always, message and data rates may apply for any messages sent to you from Hershire and to us from you. Message frequency varies, and if you have any questions about your text plan or
data plan, it is best to contact your wireless provider as we cannot answer these questions for you.
3. Compliance and protection.
We may use your personal information to:
● Comply with applicable laws, lawful requests, and legal process, such as to respond to subpoenas or requests from government authorities;
● Protect our, your or others’ rights, privacy, safety, or property (including by making and defending legal claims);
● Audit our internal processes for compliance with legal and contractual requirements or our internal policies;
● Prevent, identify, investigate, and deter fraudulent, harmful, unauthorized, unethical, or illegal activity, including cyberattacks and identity theft.

● Professional advisors. Professional advisors, such as lawyers, auditors, and insurers, where necessary in the course of the professional services that they render to us.
● Authorities and others. Law enforcement, government authorities, and private parties, as we believe n good faith are necessary or appropriate for the compliance and protection purposes described above.
● With your permission, we may share your pet’s information (name and picture) on social media or other outlets. This information can be seen, collected, and used by others, including being cached, copied, screen captured, or stored elsewhere by others (e.g., search engines), and we are not responsible for any such use of this information.
4. YOUR CHOICES
● Opt-out of marketing communications. You may opt out of marketing-related emails/text messages by following the opt-out or unsubscribe instructions (see below) or by contacting us. Please note that if you choose to opt out of marketing-related emails or text messages, you may continue to receive service-related and other non-marketing emails.
